All GCLR apartments are fully self-contained with kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities.

Please note that GCLR do not own or manage the facilities at the building. All Common areas like hallways, rubbish areas, outdoor areas etc, including facility outages, pool temperatures, maintenance and cleaning are all handled by the onsite managers. GCLR have no control over these matters.
Apartment Supplies – Complimentary starter pack including detergent, soap, toilet paper, garbage bags & laundry powder. There are supermarkets and convenience stores all within a minute walk of your apartment if you would like any additional supplies!
Housekeeping – This apartment has been cleaned prior to your arrival and will be cleaned upon your departure. If you require a mid-stay clean, please contact our office with 24hrs notice. Please note charges apply.
Safe – The safe provided in your apartment is for the owners use only. For security reasons no codes are provided to us. We kindly ask you not to use it.
Beach Towels – Gold Coast Luxury Resorts have beach towels available to purchase from our office at $15 per towel or 4 for $50.00
Dishwasher – This apartment features a dishwasher for your convenience. Please be sure to read the manual if you are unsure. Online manuals are also very useful.
Blinds & Windows – Please take care when operating blinds and curtains. It is recommended you open or wind up all blinds and curtains before opening any doors or windows to prevent possible damage.
No Smoking or Vaping – There is a strict ‘No Smoking Policy’ in place in all Gold Coast Luxury Resorts apartments. Q1 in particular has a no smoking policy anywhere in the building, including apartment balconies or their grounds. Any evidence of smoking in the apartment will result in extra cleaning charges, as per your lease agreement.
Keys – For the security of all guests staying within the resort, you are required to use your security fobs to gain access to all resort facilities and after hours building access. Your fobs also allow you to activate the carpark and lifts. Please notify us immediately if your keys become lost or stolen. Charges apply for all replacement keys. In the event of a lockout please call the emergency number. An on the spot call out fee applies of $100 cash outside of office hours.
Fire Alarm – This resort is equipped with a certified fire alarm system for your safety. This system is linked to the Queensland Fire & Rescue Department in case of an emergency. Please be aware that all apartments are fitted with sensitive smoke detectors that are easily activated. False alarms and fire department call outs are expensive, so please take care while cooking in your apartment. A fine of approximately $1000 can be imposed. Please make sure exhaust fans are in use and balcony doors left open while cooking.
Security – For your safety please ensure that all doors including those to the balcony are locked upon leaving your apartment.
Due to our high occupancies and strict cleaning schedule check out time is strictly 10:00am
On your departure please ensure all dishes are washed, dried and put away.
All rubbish is to be removed from the property, including any left over food or drinks from the cupboard and fridge. Rubbish chutes are found on every level.
Turn off all lights and air conditioning before vacating.
Leave both sets of keys on the kitchen bench and close the door behind you. If you have a car in the basement, please remove your car first.
It is imperative that you do NOT use the key drop boxes at the property. These drop boxes do not belong to GCLR and we cannot gain access to them.
Please note – you can get to the lobby without your key/fobs.
Air Conditioning
Below is an example of the air conditioning control panel that may be in the Q1 Apartments.
This is zoned air conditioning, which means only the living OR bedroom zone can be used at one time.
Panel locations:
3 Bedroom Apartments: Opposite the back bedroom, on your right if you are in the kitchen facing the sink.
Room 4605: Opposite the laundry.
Room 6003: Immediately on your left as you enter the apartment.
Room 6102: One panel in the kitchen which controls most of the apartment. An additional panel inside the first bedroom on the left which only controls that bedroom.
Note: Please do not put the temperature below 21 degrees as the unit will freeze up and will stop working
Note: Please ensure all balcony doors and windows are closed when the system is on as the air conditioner will not function correct if there are any doors or windows open.
TV is displaying the message ‘Weak or No Signal’
Please check that the source is selected correctly to watch ‘free-to-air TV’ or ‘Digital TV’
If the signal is weak, please check that the TV antenna cable at the back of the tv is plugged in securely. If any issues continue, contact our office on 07 5570 1122.
Loss of Power
The most common reason for a loss of power is a circuit breaker has tripped. This may be caused by a faulty appliance, too many items drawing electricity, or a power surge.
If you need access to your fuse box, please see locations below:
3 Bedroom Apartments: Opposite the back bedroom, on your right if you are in the kitchen facing the sink.
Room 4605: Opposite the laundry.
Rooms 6003 and 6102: Inside a locked owners cupboard, please contact our office for access.
Check for any switches that are in the off position and turn back on.
If the power trips again, please unplug any items that may have tripped the power and try again.
If it continues please report to maintenance, see below.
