This stay I was surprised at the difference in the quality of apartment from when we stayed with GCLR last time. We stayed in Circle on Cavill previously and the room was immaculate and we had absolutely no complaints. This room was definately not at that level, it had a broken toilet seat, old rusted and broken toilet cleaner , the whole apartment could do with a good deep clean, table tops were very scratched, the bottom of the door in the ensuite the wood was broken and peeled away and just a bit shabby. The other feedback I have is the doors could not be key locked, nor could the apartment door which isn't overly child friendly with an adventurous 3 year old here. We still enjoyed our stay and the view was exactly what we hoped for and the location is also excellent and everything you need it right there. I also booked a 2 bedroom, not a 3 bedroom and I wonder if the quality wouldve been better in the 2 bedroom.

Just a couple penny pinching things took the luxury out of luxury unit. Like cmon one teabag we still laughing about that. No coffee at all. Even mediocre accom has a coffee machine these days it’s 2025. 1 towel each. No back up and no beach towel for the pool unless you want to buy one. Again laughable but sticks in your memory why. Maybe a heads up that one of the pool areas out of action. The swipe keys were hit and miss. We stood at doors many times swiping away with no action. Was boarder line stressful. I have a feeling the whole high rise has electrical issues like minimal lights working at night. No exhaust fan in bathroom and light not working. I think I’ll finish there. Unit was clean and felt luxurious. Balcony awesome position awesome we could live there lol for sure.

The apartment was in a great position with an amazing view. The apartment was however not well maintained. Light switches had dirty marks, the glass doors to the balcony were dirty on the outside. The outside balcony floor was not clean, including the day bed. Provisions were limited, toilet paper and garbage bags. The pantry door didn't close properly and made a loud screeching noise when trying to close it. We have stayed at Soul Peppers over many years and noticed the 'wear and tear' around the building, in particular the indoor pool and spa area. The apartment also was a bit 'tired' and could do with a refresh, paying attention to details such as tiling, painting etc.

Stunning, comfortable & clean apartment overlooking the ocean. Located right in the middle of surfers, everything was within walking distance & we didn’t have to move our car once we arrived. The apartment had everything we needed which was important as we were travelling with a 8 month old & we were able to wash & sterilise our bottles & do all our washing before returning home. Would definitely stay again!

Whilst impressed with communications, the location and the cleanliness of the apartment, we were underwhelmed with the what was provided, especially for the price we paid (e.g. no coffee pods, lack of toilet rolls, no coffee tables, umbrellas). These are all small things but they make a difference. Also the TV remote batteries were dead, the curtains were mouldy.

Fantastic location! Apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. Great indoor pool facilities. Downside was the slow lifts especially on busy weekend and temperature of the hot water was lower than expected.

The room was in an excellent location, it was very clean and spacious. But for a luxury stay then I feel with a bit more thought and effort was needed to make our stay luxurious. The cheap guest amenities such as bathroom toiletries were disappointing. Also disappointing was that there was no coffee machine, not even a plunger. The room amenities were very basic.

The accommodation was very well presented. Everything was as described. The only negative I have was main bed was very uncomfortable. I’m not sure why but it was just very uncomfortable to sleep on. But other than that was very happy with the accommodation.

The place was nice and convenient but we were charged extra for that week after having to cancel during Alfred because it was the blues festival we arrived Tuesday it didn’t start till Thursday we were leaving Friday I thought it was all week
