Paddock Bakery | Burleigh Heads


Often visited by stars such as the beautiful Margot Robbie, Paddock Bakery is fast becoming one of Gold Coasters favourite breakfast destinations. No such thing as a diet when visiting this place. Ideally located in the heart Miami, if the picturesque scenery doesn’t capture you from the start the Nutella Bots, Dippy Eggs & Acai bowls sure will. Take our strong advice: you cannot leave Paddock without trying one of their amazing in house baked treats!

BSKT | Nobby Beach


Regardless if you’re gluten free, vegan, vego, dairy free or anything in between, BSKT is the place for you. Pronounced Biscuit, there is so much to love about this Nobbys based cafe. With so many amazing healthy options on the menu, we suggest saving room for more than one visit.

Bam Bam Bakehouse | Mermaid Beach

Ok, so remember how we mentioned Paddock Bakery and it’s amazing cabinet full of goodies just above.. well if your tempted by that then you can’t go past its little sister Bam Bam Bakehouse. Just as the name suggests, Bam Bam pride themselves on their house made baked pastries and treats. Don’t be fooled though, its not all nutella buns & mars bar eclairs, they do have an incredible selection of savoury breakies & coffees too. If your looking for your next cheat meal destination.. this is the place!

For all the coffee lovers out there, Paradox Coffee Roasters is the place for you. Based out of their contemporary warehouse- style cafe, these house-roasted coffee blends will have you ordering more than just one. Don’t be fooled though, this isn’t just a place for a good cuppa, we suggest pairing it with some delicious ricotta hotcakes or the double bacon & egg bagel. Yes you heard right, double bacon. Yum!

Commune | Burleigh Heads


Fancy some house made corn fritters, and a fresh juice whilst soaking up the Gold Coast Sun? Who wouldn’t !! Commune cafe in Burleigh has been a locals & travellers fav for years. You can enjoy a game of ping pong in the summer, or curl up with a coffee in their vintage style lounge chairs when it’s a little cooler. Ok, so even though this is in no particular order we’ve certainly saved one of the best until last. With its vintage style, Elk Espresso’s menu pairs sweet, savoury and everything in between oh so well. Tucked just on the outskirts of the Broadbeach precinct, this is one place you will want to re visit more than once! If you have a sweet tooth.. don’t go past the Nutella thickshake!
