What is SeaFire?

SeaFire is the Gold Coast’s premier international fireworks competition, where two of the world’s best pyrotechnic teams go head-to-head, lighting up the night in a spectacular display of skill, synchronisation, and storytelling through fireworks.

Each team will launch a meticulously choreographed show set to music from ocean-based barges, creating a dazzling reflection on the waves and a truly immersive experience for viewers on the sand.

Who’s Competing in 2025?

This year’s SeaFire will see:

• Team Belgium, renowned for their precision, artistry and traditional craftsmanship

What to Expect on the Night

The action kicks off from 6:00 PM, with roving performers, live entertainment, food trucks, and family fun lining the Esplanade. The fireworks displays will start at 7:00 PM, so make sure to arrive early and claim your spot on the sand!
